International Traffic in Arms Regulations

22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M — the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Parts 120–130 control the manufacture, export, temporary import, and brokering of defense articles and defense services on the U.S. Munitions List, and the furnishing of related technical data. Administered by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (PM/DDTC) under AECA § 38 and Executive Order 13637. This atlas is a navigational map of the current structure, with a live link on every node to the official eCFR text. It is not a substitute for that text.

ITAR is amended by Federal Register rule. Always open the live eCFR section before relying on a summary.
Classification order is USML first (§ 120.11), then the EAR. Do not start at the CCL.
